This week's journey took Johnny from New Mexico into the vast expanses of West Texas. After covering many miles to reach the Roswell area, Johnny arrived at the monastery of the Poor Clare nuns. Through the traditional grille that separates the cloistered sisters from the outside world, Johnny shared the Sebaste mission and received their prayers and encouragement.

The route then led Johnny into the solitary beauty of Texas cotton country, where he was met with even more endless horizons and little-traveled highways.

Currently, Johnny is making his way towards Dallas, transitioning from the rural to the urban, which of course will present challenges of its own.
