This week brought special reunions for Johnny as he continues through New Mexico. On Valentine's Day, his wife Larissa flew to Albuquerque to take over crewing Johnny for a few days, bringing a welcome dose of encouragement to the journey.
A second highlight came when Father Joseph Dalimata, FSSP, an old friend from Johnny's school days, traveled from El Paso to join the mission. After celebrating Mass for the team in the van, Fr. Joe proved his mettle by running 22 miles alongside Johnny—which we’ll count, though he was not running in cassock.
Between runs, Johnny and the team found rest and restoration with an aunt and uncle, who opened their home for much-needed showers and laundry. Before departing, Fr. Joe and Johnny sat down for an interview, which… well… please pray for our equipment to work as needed.
Currently, Johnny is still running through the Albuquerque area, with his sights set on the Poor Clare’s in Roswell this weekend.
